Vibration +& Lurch Tranny or O2 sensor

Hello all,
I have a 2001 expedition and have had a problem of and on for some time.
Upon startup the vehicle jerks like it tried to go into gear or something. Also at stop lights(sometime not all) the whoel vehicle will set there and shake, vibrate, shimmy.
I had it in the shop a few months back and they replaced the O2 sensor and some shift selinoids and it cured it. The problem is now back but the vehicle will not throw any codes for the problem. What in ya'lls opinion is the deal
Thanks Jeff

My '97 Expy does the same thing. It lurches forward as the engine catches. I understand it to be a common issue and it was discussed here at length many months ago or maybe even a year ago. I believe it has to do with the torque converter if I'm not mistaken. Although you may have a different tranny than I. I have an E40D and you may have the 4R100?...

I have been absent from the forums for quite a while so one of the regulars may have more info....

BTW, Welcome to the forums!
