I have a 2003 EB Expedition. Only 10/11K and the brake fluid id completely black.

On my 2002 Totyota Highlander with 33K the fluid is clear and yellow just like the day I bought the SUV.

Completely discolored and blackened brake fluid tells me its (a) dirty and (b) spent.

What's going on here? Something I should worry about? Have dealer change under warranty?

Any ideas or is this Ford brake fluid junk?

BTW: No towing.

 

I'd get it flushed quickly. I did mine recently but it's much older and I do tow!! Made a huge difference in peddle feel!
