Ok, I shouldn't brag about beating a fellow Ford driver, but I can't help it. There is a spot on my way to work where the road goes from single file to double file and back to single file with a stop light in the middle. It never fails that some impatient driver will try to get around a few cars. I used to race these guys, but usually let them go anymore. But when I saw it was an '04 F-150 I couldn't resist. I beat him by half a car (truck) length. I guess the 3V heads just can't overcome the extra weight.

Nah, I am not offended. I don't believe an '04 SuperCrew even with the 5.4L, assuming the one I raced didn't have it, would beat an Expy. At least not by much. I had an '02 F150 SuperCab with the 5.4L and they just aren't very fast. I know the '04s have more power, but they also have more weight. As much as I would like to have a 5,000lb vehicle that can do 0-60 in 5.0 seconds, it just isn't practical. Oh and one that would get 40 mpg while I'm at it.
