have any of you replaced the LLS with springs from an f150?

I do not like how my expy rises up and down, and how the compressor makes so much noise that constantly reminds me that there is one more thing that will break

 

You can use the springs from the XLT Expedition. Cost will be very high to change the LLS out, though.
But then you'll miss the nice ride that the air bags offer.

 

what all would this swap entail?

and i actually preferred the ride that my f150 had over the expy i have now

You might be quite surprised at the difference the LLS makes. Talk to someone that doesn't have it and ask about ride and handling.
