CB radio mount location?

Temp Fix
Well this will sound lame, but I didn't have much choice.
Since the Expy is the wife's DD and we had not yet agreed on mounting location, I came up with a temporary solution for a trip that was soon approaching (I actually did this the night before the trip).
I took the Cobra that I pulled from my suburban and did the following:
connected a accy. type plug onto power harness,
attached the mounting bracket to a couple of those clip type sunglasses holders that go on your sun visor. Then I let the radio hang by those clips from the bins on the side of the center console.
I'm still looking for a permanent mount for the Cobra 29
BTW it did the job and didn't fall off or break.
