Expedition (L )5.4
Ok, that's not a true nomenclature- but rumor around the water fountain has it that the Expedition will soon be offered on the 139" wheelbase to offer more cargo capacity behind the 3rd row- when/if the Excusion is put out to pasture...
It looks like the Excursion is getting a facelift for 2005 so I do not know if it's death is still planned.
Can any of you Ford insiders lend any credibility to the rumor of a stretched Expy. (Something that should have happened 6 model years ago).

I sure hope ford keeps us truck guy's (suv) in mind when they come out with the extended expy imo I do not want a rear independent suspension I want the staight axle way stronger you could add air bags to it for towing and in the 4x4's you can lift them, the new expy's look good but stock sucks and i'm not into putting 20's on my rig I like the lifted look and you cannot do it in the new expy's, this is why you see so many subs and tahoes lifted they look great, with the exception of the excursion. Also ford when are you going to come out with something to compete with the h2 i am seeing alot of those around my area , lifted and they look sweet ford does not have a answer for the h2 yet Ford stop making suv's for the women and get back to your 4x4 roots (BRONCO) or I might be forced to buy a chebby

What I am trying to say is we all know where you stand CC332, on the IRS, soid axle thing. You are beating a dead horse. Maybe you should buy a Chevy and lift it.
