Understand, blown347hatch.
my comments were aimed at getting "some" to slow down, and realize Shelbys not taking over, or renaming SVT. and that they had no reason to be pissed at or disrespect Mr. Shelby and company

I'm sorry, but where did it say anything about SVT.
Shelby is it's own company, as it has been for decades, he's just back building his versions, of Ford products, as he did in the day, He's not taking over anything.
other than his Close freindship with the Ford family, his products are no more taking over SVT than the Saleen, Steeda,Roush brand names.
It didn't say anything directly about SVT, however, this "program" is drawing resources internally at Ford to make the product a reality. Instead of telling Lightning enthusiasts that the vehicle that was promised for a while now is postponed so they can focus on the new Mustang but then starting this new program for Shelby... what the hell? They should have used the resources to finish what they set out to do. This is different than Saleen, Steeda, and Roush brand names in that those are separate companies. The Shelby would be internal to Ford as is SVT and as far as I'm concerned redirecting their attention.
