OK, Went to the Shop for the diagnostic....
The diagnostic on the check engine light on the 99 Expy was:
1. the jackass I bought it from, his mechanic put the front shock on wrong and when I went over the curb popped it out or something.
They instaled it right with no new parts needing replacement.
2. The EGR DPFE sensor. I got the old parts back and it was chunked up with some white stuff in the vacuum line ports.
3. The solnenoid (sp?) which caused the valve not to opewn or close properly. Thus giving a readingin of
"insuffiecient flow in the egr, and excessive flow" ALL IN THE SAME READING. iT THREW BOTH CODES
They wanted to charge me for the EGR valve but refused. The Expy runs fine whith no codes at all without them nickel and diming me to death....
