Door Panel removal

How do you remove the driver panel on a 98?

The plastic piece on the inside opposite the side-view mirror has to come off. It has clips holding it in place..be careful. The top of it needs to be pryed away from the door first and then the bottom of it pulls up. Remove the lttle plastic cover where the door handle is. There's a screw holding the door handle in place behind there. The lighted reflector at the bottom of the door needs to be pryed up and then theres two screws behind it that need to come out. Pop the control panel for the power windows/locks up and unplug them. I think there may be another screw in there also...not sure on that one. Then the whole panel should lift up and pull away. BUT be careful with the connector for the power mirrors as it needs to be unplugged after you get the panel off.

I haven't had mine off for a while (years) so this recollection may be a bit fuzzy but it should be pretty close. When you put it back together, be carefull not to cross thread the screw that holds the door handle in place.
