Does anyone know if this is a plug and play unit? Can I just get a head unit and have the navigation or does it have wires that I may not have? I have a 2003 Eddie Bauer and I thought about adding the navigation head unit if that were possible.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

It might be plug and play but, you will need more than the head unit. At the very least you will also need to purchase a new rear view mirror. My '05 KR Expy has the GPS antenna built into the rear view mirror. I also do not know what might be different between the wiring harness.

You might be better off getting an aftermarket Nav system, since what is in my expy is CD based, and with the aftermarket ones you can get them with touch screens and DVD based navigation.

Also, since these are normally the higher end head units they can usually play MP3's or even have iPod inputs. I am a little dispointed that my system only plays CD's.
