pics - cheap solution to faded rubber trim '97-02

Its called step tape from Oreilly's Auto. You get 20' for $10.00. You have to trim the length with razor blade but the height is a perfect fit. Here are the pics of it installed on my '97. It does have a nice raised texture. In the photos you can also see that I did away with that cheesy chrome strip and applied this tape. i have a 2000 eb expy and it is starting to fade.. right now i am using mothers "back to black" liquid and it usually buys a couple of weeks....

nice job with the tape, i will try it when i run out of b2b

I tried the back to black but I guess my '97 has to many years in the sun. The photos dont do this cheap fix justice. The shadows make it look slightly crooked and untrimed. In person you wouldnt know this isnt factory unless you owned an Expy. Thanks for the props.

If you guy would rather see a chrome look there, Navigators came factory with chrome trim instead, and you can get it cheap off totaled navi's
