My uncle just bought a new navigator Ultimate with the THX sound package. Is anyone here impressed with the sound it produces? My F150 has much better bass but the navigator seems to have better stereo separation but no bass at all.

 

Exactly. We have had it for quite a while now and you just learn to live with it. It seems to be just something that THX sold out to while Lincoln gets to use it as a marketing tool. Nevertheless if it did have cleaner bass, it would sound very good.

 

Take that factory sub out, and drop in a good quality sub, and the improvement is ungodly. I started with a pioneer, and swapped to a JL (also upped it to 10") and I have enough bass that I have to turn the bass down to 0 or 1 with my kids in the car.
