Interesting to see a EL version with a box to compete with the Avalanche. The main advantage over a Screw 5.5 being the Indy rear end, (plus shorter overall length and tighter turning radius)
As long as they could design a better looking c pillar area with less plastic... (vs. Avalanche)
Basically a Sport Trac plus one size. Come to think of it the new Sport Trac does have a indy rear end, plus a 4.6L V8 so thats not far off. Still a little smaller that what I'd like. I'm used to that large back seat of the Screw...
I'd like to see a little head to head test. F-150 Screw 5.5 vs. 07 Sport Trac vs. 07 Expy XL. Test them 0-60, handling, towing etc...

What is the deal? Enough teasing!!! Everyone seems to know that somethings coming out, yet they don't tell us what it is? Is it the 6.2L? Last March Wards Auto said it was DOA. Yet we were told the same thing with the baby diesel and it sounds more and more like that will arrive, eventually.
And never midn the Hemi. We need something to compete with the next Tundra and the Titan and whatever GM will have come fall.
Surly the next Navigator will have more than 300hp as the new Escalade has 400? Looking at the new Expy, me thinks there is room under that hood for the V10... And I'm betting that the Navi will have a very healthy 3v V10 under its shiny black hood... Unless the 6.2L Hurricane is alive, than we don't need the V10. OR do we . The Hurricane was rumoured to be at @ 350 hp? So maybe a larger V8 version of the Hurricane for the Navi. (and base engine for the 07 gas Super duty's?)

This is only good if Dodge just lays back and does not produce anymore horses and TQ from their current setup in 08. I do not see that happening, since the entire HP race seems to be back in play now. The 5.7 Hemi is strong, and the 6.1 Hemi is a monster. Hopefully Ford adapts to this by 08 and ups the anti then instead of what is on paper now.
