Having gone from an 03 Expy to an 05 Supercrew I can give you my thoughts.

If you have more than 5 pax to carry. Go with the Expy.

If that is not an issue, then go with the Supercrew. It handles better, can carry more cargo,(I have a Lund soft cover).

I didn't see any difference in mpg. The Expy had the 5.4 with 3.73 gears, and the Supercrew has the 5.4 with the 3.55 gears.

I did add Mich 265/70's that are slightly bigger. Better ride, but may have lost a bit on mpg.

Even my wife stated that when driving the supercrew, it felt like it handled better.

Of course it doesn't have 300 lbs of glass around the rear cargo area.

The supercrew is longer and not as good in parking lots or tight places.

The rear air on the Expy is great. Sometimes it takes awhile to cool the rear seat area of the supercrew.

I thought the towing of the Expy was better, only because it is shorter. Makes a difference in backing.

My son who is now 6'2", stated the rear seats in the Expy are much more comfortable than the supercrew.

That's all I can think of for now. I'll add more if I think of it later.

Good luck. Either vehicle is great, just depends on your needs.

I have a Navigator, and had an F150. That truck was a biatch to get into parking places, whereas the Nav swings right in. Thats my one complaint about the Fseries. They turn like dogchit. I don't understand how the expy/navi can turn so well, but the truck turns like there are walls on both sides.

I traded an 05 Screw Lariat for an 05 EB Expy and have zero regrets! I have a little Ranger too so I'm not really missing a truck bed. It boils down to what YOU need though. I'm in the military so I move around a lot and have in laws and out laws visit. It's nice that everyone can ride comfortably in one vehicle. I'd trade my Screw agin in a heartbeat! Good luck!
