Expy and F150 simularities

Is the frame and the rest of the undercarrage the same as an F-150?

The biggest difference is the rear suspension. The 97-02 Expys have a solid axle and coils springs instead of leaf springs.

I think the rear frame is wider on a Expy than a 150.
Found this out when I was looking for a receiver hitch for my 97 expy..
