I have a 2000 Expediton with 5.4 I want to do some medium towing 10 ft trailer with HD and other medium towing and occasionally a 16 ft utility. I noticed it has an auxillary oil cooer located on the rear left area of the front of the radiation. I live in Louisiana and it gets very hot. (did all Expeditons have the aux transmissioin oil cooler) So any suggestion on saving the transmission. Thanks

 

not all expys have the aux cooler. For most types of light to medium towing the factory aux cooler will work just fine. If you plan some heavy towing, then I would look for a bigger cooler, or you might just want one for "peace of mind".
