I have a 04' Eddie Bauer, which seems to have some condensation stains inside the plastic gauge lens.

I was just going to have my alarm installation shop clean the inside of the lens when they do my alarm system, but after speaking with the Ford parts department, they stated the lens and gauge cluster are sold as one part.

Does that mean I cannot remove the gauge lens to clean it??? Has anyone here removed the gauge lens or cluster, can they be separated?

 

Im pretty confident the clear plastic is only held on by plastic clips over the sides of the cluster itself. B.c they sell aftermarket gauge overlays. Actually i can look it up on my service dvds....
