traded for an 05 expy with the 5.4 and love it, anything i need to look out for on it?

thanks we love it so far, i cant believe how torquey the new 5.4 feels, seems to run good

yeah, that 3v is alot better than the 2v. now you just need to put a roushcharger on it!!

that would be sweet its my wifes daily driver, ive already thought about sneaking of the muffler shop and hookin it up LOL It couldnt be too loud though or she wouldnt like it

'05+ 5.4 3V...be wary of sticking injectors.

thanks quintin...... i have noticed a ticking noise while ideling sounds like the " piston slap" that the new chevy ls engines have anyone have this, is it normal?

Some rattle/clatter from the variable cam timing system is normal, yes. The injectors on the 3V engines are a lot noisier than the older engines too.
