Hi i have a 1997 Expedition Eddie Bauer 4x4, 5.4L.
The transfer case has 2hi, AWD, 4Hi and 4Lo. Right now the AWD does not work and the light on the dash just blinks. 4hi and 4 lo works fine (checked it while it was on a hoist).
So far i have taken out the T-case shift motor which has 2 sensors attached to it. i noticed some small amout of metal shavings stuck to the sensor magnets which i cleaned off. Other then that the motor and sensors look fine.
Is there anything i could check or maybe its a electrical problem?
I noticed the second i switched to AWD the light on the dash blinks.
