my brand new 08 EL doesn't have the 7-pin either.

The window sticker very clearly says "Tow Package" though. I have a Class IV hitch, and the 4-pin wiring.

There is also a little sticker under the hitch that says "9,200 tow capacity" with WD hitch.

am I missing a 7-pin connector, or is there a "heavy duty" tow package?

I had the same thing!! You do not have the heavy duty package. There are three packages. You have the middle one!! I would go in bitching to the dealer now!!! Get it fixed before you have issues. You will need the heavy duty radiator, cooler, and the fluid.

The Expy isn't my tow vehicle.

The F-150 is my tow vehicle....and it has the Heavier Duty package.

I have enough issues right now with my Expy that I am not even going to look at anything else.
After some searching, I found the 3 packages you are talking about. I got what I paid for. So I would be making myself look like a jackass for no real reason.

I might mention the upgrades though if they say anything about giving me some sort of customer satisfaction stuff. The paint job right now deserves that I would think
