It was real simple to pull them off.I started with strong fishing line and separated the molding from the body...then just pulled the rest off by hand.I could have saved the molding but had no use,so they were "curved" when I finished.I thought for a minute and then used a hard plastic "putty knife" just to start the others.2 or 3" into it,I just pulled it off.The paint is in good shape.I used what basically amounts to be a big eraser to get the excess glue off which was tough...simply because it takes a little time. Then waxed the area...total time for everything about 1.5-2 hours, but Im very particular.I still have a little buffing to do[I did the first round by hand] Some said use a heat gun or hair dryer, but I actually saw it done on "Trucks"[horsepower block] The eraser is expensive but imo made it easier than holding a heat source to it long enough to pull the left over off.Plus the eraser doesnt hurt the paint in any way.
It really cleans the look up nicely.
