so... it's a dual filament the H13/9008? man... that's gonna cost more than the regular stuff... guess I'll drive my truck to hilo if the guy calls me back at least I'll put HIDs in something LOL

 

yeah i think you're going to need to buy a bi-xenon hid kit

 

yes, dual beam...you wouldn't believe the # of guys who buy a single filament kit.



btw, be careful with the Fogs you get. I've seen some cases where guys have melted their lens by running too hot/bright a fog lens.

 

fog, u mean in the lower bumper FOG lights running HIDs? I don't have ANY intention of running something so high wattage that it'll so much as cause people to flash their hi-beams at me. my titan I get hi-beamed ALL the time and it annoys me hardcore so I flash them back and I'd be surprised if they can see the road at which point LOL but I'm not interested in getting that far let alone 50w or something that'll melt anything. unless something like 35w will melt them lmk but I think that's what I'd get, and right NOW I really would just get HID low beams for both vehicles rather than fogs and lows for either...

 

oh, I ended up getting H13 (9008) bulbs a couple steps down from silverstars that're silvania or whatever and are still whiter than stock for like $25 the HID guy never called me back on if he had H13s or not. told him I'd take them on the spot provided he would stick around to make sure they fit and fire up... told him either the H13 or the 9006 and it'd decide which vehicle we'd take. but never called at all
