Phase 1 of blackout begins soon...

Lord willing, I am going tomorrow to buy the last of my paintable pieces for my 99 Expy. Dude a couple towns over has an 01 that was rolled but has good grill and rear bumper and black mirror covers. i am getting the front bumper off a co-workers XL this week. then i will drop the bumpers and grill at the paint shop and then wait impatiently to get them back and installed... i am getting excited about this. i cant stand chrome! lol

as a bonus i am picking up a set of those painted dark gray mini fender flares that i am planning on putting on there as well to give me a little extra curve on my lower body lines.

here is what i am working with:

also need to find that door trim in black too... hmmmm forgot about that! lol

well this project is slower than i thought... my paint guy is having to "work it in" and that is taking a while... i am however swapping on a black grill and bumper tonight off the XL so that maybe will carry me over temporarily... pics coming...
