What kind of tire are you considering? AT, MT, street tire. I love the BFG AT KO's and the Falken ST/Z04's on my Screw and Expy.

I was thinking of going with a P255/70R18 112T Michelin LTX A/S

you have 18's on a KR?

I thought the KR came with 20's only

anyhoo, IMO you can do alot better than a LTX A/S...Nothing wrong with it, but there are better out there.

Back in February I bought the Goodyear Silent Armor for my old SUV. great great tire. Nice road manners, has excellent traction, and the offroad traction was superb. It has a fairly aggressive tread pattern, and the sidewall looks pretty nice as well IMO
255/70/18 Goodyear Silent Armor 32" tall - $193/tire

275/65/18 Goodyear Silent Armor 32" tall - $183/tire

Highly suggest you get the 275 width. It is the OEM size for the F-150's and will fit your Expy with ZERO PROBLEMS.

These tires are rated #2 on All Terrain Tirerack.com Tire Ratings...vs the LTX A/S which is rated #3 and has the same price tag

255/70 is way too skinny of a tire for these big trucks... get a 275/65 or 285/60 and you will see a big improvement in handling.
I run 285/60/18 Nitto Terra Grapplers on my expedition and they are great. They handle good on dry and wet, no noise, and minor offroad capablities...

X2 ^^^ Im running 285/55/R20's on my expedition and theyre the perfect fit. They give me some good off road capabilities, pretty good for on road conditions, not to mention they make the truck look pretty mean!
