Post Gas mileage towing?

Anyone do any towing with their Expy? I towed my 6000 lb camper this weekend and averaged 9mpg. Of course it was very windy and I do have the 5.4L. Any other expierences?

Towing 3000lb boat + bunch of camping stuff with the 4.6L and got around 12mpg (with 3.55 gears) last summer.

I'd say 9mpg was about average for those with the 5.4L engine.
