I just installed lightning wheels and on the front where the upper ball joint I only have about 3/4 to 1" clearance!! Is this ok?? My X is a 4x4. It seems close in the front and rear. I want to do a check with you guys before I hit the road and have to deal with flats

Even though it's a 4x4, I doubt you'll do much off-roading with those tires & rims??? As long as you don't rub on "full-lock" turns, you'll probably be OK with a small clearance. Just take it easy while urban-roading. If you do decide to leave the pavement, get another set of tires & rims.

Your tires should clear without problems. However, check the brake line bracket to make sure it doesn't rub against the rim (not tire). You may have to bent the bracket back and change to a rounded head bolt that attaches the bracket to the arm. The bracket also has some very sharp corner edges that may need filing down. Oh, I'm talking about the front tires/rims.
