Does anyone know what the underlying panels would look like if I removed the EB trim? I would like to put larger fender flares on the X and I love the EB inside but not as crazy about the exterior trim. I am planning on painting the front and rear bumper panels however. Thanks in advance.

 

Mike - - I haven't decided if I will sell them or not. If the underlying panels are messed up, I guess I will HAVE to paint them and re-apply. If I sell them, you will be the first to know. Do you have any idea if it will mess up my truck?

There is nothing under the EB trim. I guess there will be holes from the screws you remove on the fender wells, but that's it. I had to remove and replace my door pieces because the factory put them on crooked. Nice huh...

Depending on how long you have had the truck, you might have wear lines around the fenders where the trim comes in contact with the paint on the fender.
