Arrow UPDATE: "Service Engine Soon" Light at 700 Miles

Good news. Bad news.

The good news first: apparently it was a defective gas cap that caused the service light to come on at 700 miles. The dealer's tech ran the computer diagnostics which showed a vaccum leak. He isolated it to the gas cap. Wouldn't you know, I could clearly see where condensation was developing around part of the rubber seal. Simple fix. That's the good news.

Now the bad news: the driver's seat has developed an awful squeaking sound. It sounds like a spring or something has popped around the lumbar area. Imagine taking the cover off of a bed mattress and jumping up and down on the exposed springs. That's what it sounds like! Gee, somehow I feel like this is going to take more than just a shot or two of WD-40.

More later...
