Soon to be new owner. Have a question or two.

I don't really know... I don't let the car get that dirty... I mainly got it because I didn't want my expy to look like the other 1000 white EB Expy's in Orlando. Question- do you really think that the chip is worth the $$? I was going to get the non-flip chip version but I'm hesitant because I purchased a 72m/72k zero deductable bumper to bumper warranty, and I don't want any problems from my dealer if I ever need to use it. I went ahead and installed a K&N filter and it seems like I now get 17-18 on the highway. It would be too sweet to get 20. (not to mention a 26hp boost) Can you believe my dealer said that if I put too much oil on the filter charger and it gunks up my O2 sensor, I'm SOL..

Read all you can about the mods you want to perform. This is an excellent place since just about everything is "tried" by someone here. Also, learn everything you can about the truck as it came from the factory. The mailing list at www.xpedition.net is a good place- be sure to search the archives there, too.
If you can, find another dealer. It is entirely up to the individuals running the shop as to whether your mods are OK or not. I've had service performed at three different dealerships without a problem (see my sig.).
In all, being educated & polite will usually net you the best service.

RT Stat;
I mainly ordered the flip chip to correct for the speedo error I got by going to 4.10's. Any performance gains will be a bonus. I can't say enough about the switch to 4.10's - fantastic.
There are a lot of people who have asked me if the chip corrects the speedo - will let you know.
