Depends on what you have. 4X2, 4X4, air suspension, etc.
I have 4X2 with air suspension and lowered the front with Eibach 1 1/2" lowering springs. Didn't have to do anything to the rear except adjust the air suspension sensor so it sits lower. I also installed Lightning wheels and 285/60/18 Michelin Pilots. Overall effect was the wheel wells are full of tire and lowering improved lateral handling quite a bit. The Michelins also improved the ride, traction, etc.
I went with the Eibach because they offer the best ride. Smooth until pushed. Progressive tension. You'll have to install cmber kits to realign the Exp. I purchased the springs and camber kits from Tire Rack.

KSinLA,
How much did you drop the back?

I too have the rear LLS on my 98 X. I was wondering when you were under there, just how much adjustment there is for the rear? Were you able to drop the back 1 1/2" or is the front lower than the back? Do you have any pics?

Thanks,
James

I lowered the back about 2" to bring it about level with the front at rest. I was surprised how much you can adjust the rear height. I had to readjust it a couple of times to get it right. Fortunately, it's an easy task.
I don't have any pictures. Hate to say it but I don't know how. I'd attempt to do it if someone provided me with easy to understand step by step instructions.

Someone told me that you can adjust the torsion bars on expdition's to raise and or lower the front-end. Is this true and how is it done?
TIA
