New, and happy, Expedition owner!

Ford builds better trucks, I honestly believe that, so when we outgrew our F-150 Supercab as a family of six, we started looking around. Suburbans are everywhere, I test drove an Excursion and it was just too much. It didn't take much and my wife was SOLD on an Expedition. Our F-150 is a year 2000 XLT and it's been a great truck so we figured we'd like the Expedition quite a bit as well. Boy what an improvement! Our Expedition is a 2003 Eddie Bauer, and there is no comparison, this vehicle is far, far nicer than our truck and far nicer than I expected any Expedition to be. Other than it being noticeably heavier, it's just a better vehicle all around. It's going to be a perfect family vehicle!

I just need to figure out now how I'm going to get an F-150 SVT Raptor with the 6.2L Boss engine... hmmm....

I wanted an EL, but couldn't swing an EB or Limited in good shape. I can see myself trading my EB in for an EL in a couple of years...until then though, I will definitely enjoy this truck.

That's a beautiful truck jimmyv13! The reason we got a Supercab years ago was because it seated six and most SUV's in our price range were five passenger. Our Expedition seats eight pretty comfortably. The EL might be nice sometimes, but these power down rear seats give us most of the extra space we'd ever need. I need to get a nice roof rack I think.

Congratulations!
I have owned mine for 10 years & it still runs solid.
Ford makes great vehicles. Once I hit the lottery
I will get a F150 Rapture too

rhdf150,

A white Raptor with the 6.2L Boss engine and maybe tailgate step is in my future! I don't know exactly how or when, but I'm getting one. Expy for the family and I can take the wife out to dinner (or a really wild picnic!) in the Raptor!
