Post Expy Taillight Covers

Does anyone know of any specific taillight covers made for our Expy's? Expy taillights have three large grooves and I would like to find flush covers that fit in these grooves. I searched and found that eriko has AVS tailight covers on his Expy but I have been unable to find any online. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hey,

How did you get a 9006 bulb to fit your OEM fog light assembly? I thought 9006 wouldn't fit any year past 98'?

Funny you should ask. Just yesterday I went to a PEP BOYS and I saw some tail light covers. One style was black for $20 and another style was painted for $50. THey could order just about any color for any truck. They were made by IMAGE, the web site on the package was imagetrucks.com; however, the site did not work, it takes you to a MAPLE--something site.

I did a "image trucks" search with MSN and the first hit describes truck accessories. ????????? strange.

Anyway, maybe the PEP BOYS near you or online can get what you (we) want.

I live near where Tuskawilla and Red Bug intersect. I had the paint and rear deflector done at Greenway Ford, ask for Theron... they are reasonable, and at least you know that it's done correctly. You should look into getting the clear corner lights, I have them on mine and they look pretty sharp.

Glad to hear it. My Expy was in fact purchased at Greenway Ford. Is Theron in the Parts Department? And how much did it run you to have them painted. Thanks again.

I'm pretty sure it was somewhere around $125.00, but I had more than the light covers painted... that included the deflector. Thereon is one of the body shop service writers. How much did you end up paying for your Expy? I bought mine new- EB 2000. 5.4l- 31.4K plus tax tag etc... I was able to get the .09% for 60 months

Why don't you get the new euro tail lenses. They look great. Stillen trucks has them and they are made by In car wear. 1-888-222-2952 ext 159.

I own a 99 eb expo. What other bulbs will fit in the fog lamp. Also I have 20" Azzur Matrix rims with 305/50-20 Nitto Extreme tires. Does your tires rub when you hit a dip. I am also thinking about lowering mt ride.

d red ex,
Can you please post a pic of your Expedition with the rims? I am planning on getting some 20s with the same size tires and I just wanted to see what they look like.

Thanks
Robert

The only way to fit the 9006 PIAA superwhites in the foglight openings is to shave one of the locking prongs off. Took me about 2 min. with my dremel and I was done. They are so much brighter than stock. Its not to hard to cut the plastic prong off and they lock in place just fine. Hope this helps!
