f150 grille on expedition

f150 grille on expedition

anyone ever try to mount an 04-07 f150 grille in the spot of an 03-06 expy? i am contemplating changing to a different grill, but can't find anything but billet(too flashy for me). i saw an f150 fx2 grille on ebay i like....

i was thinking the same... but it would take some custom brackets i think, since the f150 grilles are bolted onto the hood, why not get a billet grille and paint it black ???

Don't think it'll work.

The Expy grilles are held by these clips:


There are 7 of them, approximate locations shown:


The F150 doesn't use such clips.

i am contemplating all the mouldings green, and i might as well do the two grilles too.

haha i've seen the 03-06 expy front on 04-08 f150 but haven't seen it the other way around lol, but i doubt it would look good since the front bumper and fender body lines wouldn't match that well with the those of the expy

Roush Expy grille?

I'm thinking about using a 04-08 Roush COP grille and making a insert for my 99 Expy.... anyone think that will work? Any one photoshop a roush grille into a blue 99 expy eddie bauer?

Im thinking the same would look good...im with you about billet being too flashy, but i have a billet grille that i sprayed with some matte black paint and i think it looks great!

Hmmm i could be lazy so right now id say just go look at my album...but ill take some tommorrow of just the grille and post em up
