Hi everyone,just fixed the heater fan. It would only work in the high position. After reading other posts of older models with the same problem, put me in the ballpark for the fix. Thanks to all.
It seems that the resistor assy part number 4L2Z-19A706-AA is the most likely problem, $28.00 at the ford dealer.

The location can be found behind the glove box. just pull the two tabs that stop the box, inwards so the box can be open fully.

A close up of the resistor assembly installed, a 8mm socket is needed to remove the screws.
