98 expedition tranny help

I bought a rebuilt tranny online they sent the wrong one.I have a early 98 expedition witch uses the e4od they sent me a 4r100.It has 2 holes on top for speed control sensor and somethig else ,can this be by passed ,wiring adapter.Is there any way this tranny can be used?PLEASE CAN ANYONE HELP ME?THANK YOU

Early 98 uses an E4OD? Interesting... I have a 97 and it has a 4R70.

Also, I would recommend reposting this in either the 97-03 F-150 or Transmission section as this one doesn't get a lot of traffic...
