Dumb Animal!

Well as the title said, i was driving to my house on highway 92 going 55mph when a deer stepped out!....my heart just droped! When suddenly, BaM! I saw the deer go right under my bumper, and i can hear crunching noise!I was pitch black when my heart was racing! I steped out side then i saw my Fog light wasint working then i started laughing....nothing NOTHING! happend to the truck! are these trucks that tough?the i looked to my left and saw the squashed deer. Felt bad 4 the deer but he crossed over in pitch black darkness.

Have u guys had an experience with animals?

I've seen many, but have not hit one yet. They either made it across, or I was able to stop.

I smoked a deer one time going 75 in a 96 single cab 2wd nissan pickup.... at night. All I heard and saw was an explosion of parts, then blackness. I knew it was a good one when I tried to get out and my drivers door wouldnt open. Needless, it was totaled. Got all the way through the front, around both fenders... Looked like I hit a parked car. Went back the next day to look for the deer, only found a pile of fur and guts about 200ft from the impact. Road was still littered with all my truck parts.

I have dodged lots of them, had lots of close calls, even bumped one (couldnt come to a full stop) once but it survived.. but this guy, he was in like a full run I guess, by the time I saw him.. it was just a flash. No time for brakes at all.
