I saw this sell on BJ today for $28K a fraction of the build cost. To bad the new owner only got a bill of sale I wonder how the new owner is going to get it registered??? I love the exhaust tips. But 550 HP seems a little low for this thing you would need at least 700bhp to make it feel like a cobra but still cool to bad there isn’t any thing for qt. times.
That’s what BJ gets for trying to sell things in CA being that it's hit the hardest by nobama factor LOL. That show makes me sick seeing things go for next to nothing. Boy it would be nice to have $50K cash in hand you would leave with some bad *** toy for sure.

It could have sold for $28.00 and been over priced. That thing is just plain ugly. I wouldn't park it in my yard if they gave it to me.

That's the first show I've seen in 5+ years that I thought prices were actually realistic. The collector car market seemed to go through a parallel bubble with people's inflated sense of what their house(s) worth was.

I missed most of Sunday, and especially the black cougar xr-7 though, but especially early saturday, there were some steals.



I'm with Patman, certainly wouldn't pay 28k for it, and it's not pretty, but sure wouldn't mind the driveline & brakes.

it was a '04 if i remember right. It is a tank but 550hp was alot 6 years ago. I personally have seen uglyer vehicles than this. 28k for a bill of sale only???? too damn much, it will never legally see the street.

 

The front end looks like a mached up ford escape hahaha
