Talking

Here's my .02 worth. I say if you have the money, and lots of it laying around, go for it. I would love to see an Expy "spank" a L, will I every see one in my lifetime, probably not.

Theres alot of weight to move for us. If the weights were almost equal then that would be a different story. What I think is funny, is these dressed up trucks with ONLY aftermarket exhausts, thinking that they have the S#*!, but the looks on there faces when I blow my them. I personally like the sleeper look. There surprised looks and embarassment is enough for me.

WAY2BIG,

Do you have any pics of your Expy including the engine, exhaust, etc? Looks like you got one kick *** Expedition. Also, have you ever taken it to the track? If so, what were your times? Thanks in advance.

Hey Gadet

I have AutoX my L and data logged my runs. Peaking at 1.2g's lateral and 1.1 accel. I haven't done it with the expy yet, but it would be scary trying to get those numbers.

Why a Holley ?

Try a Kenne Bell or Whipple

I hope your Expy blows away the L

good luck

PS you can only go fast as long as you spend

Lightbulb

Here's my current plan: SHM 5.4L DOHC longblock, with a vortech supercharger. The DOHC with the SHM internals and porting, and vavle job, should give me plenty of oomph along with a nice exhaust system. Now add the vortech and dial it up to 500hp. Give me your opinions on this. Maybe an after cooler? Thanks
