ABS light help

ABS light help

I installed new brake pads on a 99 expedition,the abs light was on before the new pads were installed,i thought this would be the cure but it was not.The battrry was disconnected while the new pads were being put on.The light still is on ,please help in any way.Thank you Keith.

Either have your ABS codes read, or check the wheel speed sensors for dirty or chaffed wires. The rear one is in the diff on later models and can be cleaned.

check if its low on brake fluid, did you bleed the brakes?
