Differences

What re the differences bewteen the K&N, Airraid and Airforce 1 filter systems?

What are the costs on the replacement filters? Do you have to change them out as often as my factory filter?

Would I be better off getting one of these instead of upgrading the exhaust (I do realize the Superchip is probably what I should do first)

Thanks

Gato, what year X do you have? 97-98 have a silencer in the intake track, most people take them out or put on an intake kit.
99's on up don't have them. But the kit does smooth out the intake track. The chip will give you the most improvement, than each other will give you a little more. But most of all, all three will complement each other for max flow. Unless you want to bore the throttle body or get a bigger mas air senser. It's endless.....

My 2 cents

Gato,

Check out past postings on page 2, particularly the thread titled "Filter Injection Performance Kit decisions ". I asked the same question you did and got some good answers.
