We started hearing something bumping around in the back of our Expy and can't figure out what it is. We took everything that was loose out and the bumping is still there. I noticed that when the rear wiper is off that the wiper arm has a piece on it that lifts it off the window / door. I think this is where the bumping noise is coming from

The wiper blade is about 1/2 inch from the door and you can see where the dust has been knocked off from the wiper blade bouncing around. Is the blade suppesed to rest against the door so it doesn't bounce around or is the norm for it to be app. 1/2" away?

 

It is supposed to hang away or else everytime you turned your wiper off it would scratch the paint with dirt and gravel. A common place for rattles and clunks is the spare tire, cinching it up helps, and the splash guards in the rear wheels. Also maek sure the jack is still secure. good luck
