03 Navi Elect and Air Susp Issues
I bought a 03 Navi w/116k miles from auction without looking at it first (mistake) but it was guaranteed to run and drive. When I picked it up the air suspension was bottomed out and when I started it the compressor didn't come on so I loaded it on my trailer and brought it home.
Once at home I notice the interior lights do not come on when doors opened bu they do when you manually turn them on. I get a back up sensor error and an air suspension error. The power door locks do not work.
Since the suspension won't air up I did not drive it but trailer it to Ford and they said the air suspension module was not getting power. They switched it with a new one to see if it made a difference but it didn't. They said the power door locks were from the central junction box which I found out is a fancy name for fuse box so I had them price match Tousley and ordered the part. The mech seems to think the suspension problems are not related to the fuse box but I had a prior 03 Navi that when the door contact didn't read the door was closed the air suspension did not inflate so I wonder if it is all related or just random electrical issues.
Any info or direction appreciated.
