Question Michelin Tires

I need to purchase some tires soon and I was wondering if anyone tried the Michelin Cross Terrain SUV tires?
Also, looking at the Pilot LTX, but I don't think they come in 275/60-17.

RE: MI Tires

I have the Pilot LTX's in 265/70HR17, got them from tirerack.com
for $162 a piece. The recall covered most of the costs. The
tires are awesome, not for any form of off-roading. My X is strictly a highway car, but I regularly drive it at 90+ mph. They are great in the rain also and noise is low.

tires

i just got the cross terrain tires last monday.
they were almost $900 mounted and balanced.

IMO they are great tires.
they look good.
size is 265/70R17

they handle great when towing, driving in the rain or on any other surface.

i am about to buy either 20's or 22's though so i will probably be selling the wheels and tires on ebay very shortly.

Ford bought me five Michelin LTX M/S 265/70/17's to replace the Firestone Wilderness that came on my 99 EB 4X4. I have no real complaints with the Firestones, however the Michelins are much quieter and run smoother. There is a noticable difference. We have been on one 3000 mile trip so far with the Michelins.

Has the Michelin LTX M/S tires on my 98. Loved them! Quiet and smooth with excellent traction. When the tires go on the 01, I'll replace them with the Michelin's

Thumbs up Cross Terrains

I replaced my Firestone ATs with Michelin CrossTerrains, which I purchased at Costco (Price Club) for $138 a piece. I then gave Ford the $700 bill and received my reimbursement in 4 weeks.

On my previous vehicle, a Ford Explorer, I ran Michelin LTXs and loved them. I love the CrossTerrains even more. They are a very quiet tire, do well in rain and sand(beaches on North Carolina ), and look nice on the truck.

I would highly recommend the CrossTerrains.
