Painted Bumpers

Any good body shop can paint your bumper covers to color match to your Navigator. I will soon be in the process of doing this and I was quoted around $150.00 to $200.00 for each bumper cover with me removing and replacing the bumper covers. R&R the bumpers is a pretty simple task and it will save you the labor expense of paying the body shop to do it. I've removed my rear bumper cover in less than 15 minutes.

Question

Steven1642

Are they true HID or just higher wattage super whites? I know GE (I think it was) was coming out with a line for after market sometime this year (and priced pretty well compared to others at about $900 for headlamps) but hadn't see whether they had yet.

The headlamps are true hid and the fog lights are just some APC superwhites i got for $50 at WheelWorkz. They look the same and since i cant find a fog light kit anywhere these will just have to do.

i really havnt looked that hard for one so if anyone knows about a H.I.D. foglight kit let me know.

Im sorry but True HID systems and replacement HID appereance bulbs do not look the same at all. Unless you HID system is broke or really not a HID system at all.

I have the HID system in my truck now.. for the foglights I have regular Eaglite Super white bulbs. And they look NOTHING alike. The HID system is a lot brighter. And a lot whiter! You cannot find a bulb on the market that is the same as HID lights.

BTW: if your truck is like mine and uses 9006 for the foglights.. there are systems for your foglights. Though I think its overkill. I am tempted to do it on my truck. But I have a feeling a lot of people will be very upset.

Ohh yeah I forgot to add that systems are only $475.00 now.. not $900..

no need to be sorry . its all a matter of personal opinion.
my parents bought the HID headlamps for me and the only thing i saw about them on these boards were they were about $900.

also i know that the hid system and normal replacement lights look different but to my knowledge the stock lights look almost yellow, correct me if im wrong, and the fog lights i have now look a hell of a lot better than the stock ones.

im not sure what type the fog lights take.

if you know anything about the fog light kits let me know cause i want that if they do make it.
