the other day i had new rotors put on my gator and when they lowered it back down the rear was about 1 inch off the ground.

it look bad@$$.

i was wondering if anyone knew of something i could hook up to the stock bags and make them work the way i wanted to.

as soon as i started up the truck it began to come back up.

Here is a little trick you can do to control the LLS on your gator. Under the glove box on the on the right side of the passengers firewall, there is a switch that allows you to turn the LLS off. What I like to do is If I want to raise my expy I put it in 4wd low then I put in drive for a and sit there, in about 30 sec the compressor turns on and the truck raises about an 1 1/2 or more above the rear axle. Once I get the height where I want it I put the truck in park and turn off the LLS switch. The only thing is that when you turn the LLS off the CHECK SUSPENTION light comes on, but don't worry once you flick the switch back on the light turns off. And if I want to lower it when I turn the truck off and the LLS starts to deflate I just go and turn the LLS switch off, and well-la the next time you turn on the your bad boy it stays lowered. And the best part is that it is all FREE

Lowered?

when you say when it starts to deflate and you turn it off and it stays lowered what do you mean.

i got it to go up, and it looks great.

i also want to be able to get the slammed look though.

when you say it stays lowered do you mean the stock ride height or do you mean lowered as in completely deflated.

Steven1642,

I have a 98 4wd Expedition. Like you, I have the four corner LLS. When the car is put in park and the ignition is shut off, the expy lowers about an about an inch and a half below driving height. If you turn the LLS off, you can drive at this 'parked' height. However, the steering is a little too sensitive because I believe the full power steering assist is on.
When you replaced your rotors did you have to disconnect the battery for some reason? When I installed my Superchip, I disconnected my battery and left it disconnected overnight. The next morning, my Expy was 'slammed' to the ground like you said. I think it is because the air compressor isn't working so it cannot keep the airbags inflated. I guess you could just turn off the LLS at this time. However, personally I wouldn't drive it in that position. Your ride would probably feel like crap and something may get messed up in your suspension. Your best bet would be just to turn off the LLS when the car has been turned off and lowered itself into parking postition. Hope this helps.

Robert

When I say lowered I mean lower than the stock driving height. I guess you could say that it looks like you might have added an aftermarket lowering kit.
