Familyride Sway bar bushings

Familyride, would you happen to have the part numbers for the Bushings? I'm ready to put them on.

Well, the one's I ordered were Energy Suspension part number 4.5173G. However, that's for the 2 wheel drive. I searched back to see if I could find the 4 wheel drive part number becasue they actually shipped those to me by mistake the first time. Ironicly, jmartinb ordered some for his 4 wheel drive and got the ones I returned!

I'd call Summit Racing or someone else and have them check the part number for the 4x4. That's where I ordered mine from. They are special order and mine took about 4-5 weeks. I don't think anyone stocks them. They're not that much either, about $30.

Just FYI, dbunch posted this way back when after I installed them and didn't know where to torque them too.

Stabilizer bar link nut to stabilzer bar (15-20 ft-lbs)
Stabilzer bar retainer bracket to frame (19-26 ft-lbs)

Good luck with them.

Thanks for the info. I'll probably just call Summit and order what they come up with. Not in that big of a hurry.

Go to Energy Suspension web site and i'll show you the #s for the 4x4 bushings. Based on Family Rides reported success with the bushings, i plan on ordering them too. I have a 4x4, did a search and found what I needed...but the part numbers are at work. Sorry.

Thumbs up You won't be disappointed...

HDLouie-

The installation was very straightfoward, taking about 30 minutes. Based upon the discussion here, I'm half-tempted to remove the OEM front bar and upgraded bushing to install the Hellwig replacement. Still thinking about it...

Good luck with your upgrade.

Talking Summit Racing

HDLouie-
I order them from Summit Racing. In fact, I got Family Ride's set of bushings! Summit sent him the bushings for a 4x4 Expy, instead of the 2x4 that he needed. He returned them and Summit in turn shipped them to me. Ride decribed the pre-opened package to a "T". Very funny.
