Best Headers?

Is there anyone out there that can tell me which headers would likely be the best to put on my 5.4 L expy? Any opinions are appreciated

Also I just took the lighted running boards off my Expedition if any one wants them email me you can have em for the price of shipping only.

best headers

Bought JBA SS Shorty Headers on Ebay for $250. One word:
AWESOME. Put them on in about 2 hours each side. Sound and
power improvements were amazing.

I haven't been under the Expedition yet so, How much room is there to work with to install headers? On 98 Cobra's you got about an inch of room to work with.

Does anyone make Long tube headers for the 5.4?

headers

There's plenty of room. just use some spray to lossen rusted bolts so you don't snap any. or esle it's gonna get ugly.

Be sure to get some sound clips. I'm sure that everyone would like to hear it.

I cannot tell a lie. Ive not yet had the chance to get them installed like I planned. Spent the money on a Warn Bumper/Winch for my Super Duty. Wifes Expy will have to wait to rumble hopefully after Christmas sometime, however the components are paid for just the time to take it in and be down to one vehicle will have to wait. But I have a Mavica Camera so when its doen Ill record a mpeg for you I promise!

You sure that winch isn't MY Christmas present?

No rush on the header sound wave. Just thought I'd keep the thread up near the top.

What is the difference between the shorty header and the longer ones? Also, what type of improvement do you guys see with either? Thanks.

Robert
