Monochromatic paint job?

I have seen some Eddie Bauer Expys with a monochromatic paint job (they dont have the tan trim, they are on solid color). Can someone give me some more info on these? How easy are they to find? How many different colors do they come in? I am looking at trading my Expy for a newer one and i love the monochromatic look.
Thanks for the help guys!

You are talking about one of two models. First there is the EB Limited. These are all Arizona Beige - monochromatic just like you said, but the trim is tan because the truck is tan. The limited EB's are VERY nice with upgraded bucket seats and most EB options are standard on this truck, all for a good price compaired to the standard EB pricing. Since you said that the trucks you saw do not have tan trim it has lead me to believe you are refering to the XLT sport. Click on the pic of my truck, this is the XLT sport. You can order it with almost everything the EB has except the MACH stero system and climate control (to my knowledge). Maybe this has answered your question.

Alan, thanks for the info. But, i have seen an all black and all white Eddie Bauer Expys, and when i talked to the owner they said that it came that way from the factory. I was just wondering if anyone had any info on this.

I know the XLT comes in a "no boundaries" package that is only available in monochrome black. You get black painted wheel lip moldings with a black body. However, you do not get the rocker moldings under the doors that are on the EBs.

To you knowledge, Ford does not offer the "no boundaries" package in white. Therefore, I would believe that those monochrome white expys you saw, the owners either purchased the flares from Ford, painted them and had them installed or they have the EB tan flares painted body color.

I have a 99 White EB that I would love to make monochrome, however, getting the EB trim off in one piece is fairly difficult.

Good luck.

Thumbs up

It is possible that the truck was a Roush See picture below.
I have seen them in Black, Blue and Red. I have yet to see a white, put with all of the other color cobos, it is possible that they offer white.

What you are talking about is the EB Limited Edition. They also come in black and white. My wife and I looked at a black EB Limited, it was all black on the exterior and tan in the interior. It stickered at $41,000.00 . The interior was upgraded from the regular EB. The seats were different, the rims were different, and it had everything you can get on an expedition. My wife decided on the black 4X2 EB, with tan leather interior. Thats a woman for you. Too practical!

When the salesman here at World Ford in Pensacola, told me it was a Limited EB, I thought he was full of it. He showed me the sticker on the truck and it said limited. It was a really nice ride. Air susp, reverse sensor, Ent system, the whole works. My wife didn't like how low it sat while the truck was off. I haven't found it on the Ford web site yet though. Maybe something special just for 2002.

3RD ROW!!!

WOAH! I really like those 3rd row seats facing each other like that. Funny enough, it looks like you can have a little more storage space with a seat configuration like that (with the seats in and not folded).

Has anyone seen this on an Expy in the US? I wonder if ford makes those seats in such a way that they fit in the same floor hooks as our regular 3rd row seats?
