I'm interested in installing an external automatic transmission cooler on my Expy.
Did anyone do this, and if so what brand did you buy and did the install go smoothly? Where did it mount?

If your Expy is anything like the F series trucks, your 5.4L comes with an aux. tranny cooler already. How to tell? Look in front of your radiator, down low. On the driver's side is a cooler and that's for the power steering. On the passenger's side, there should be a cooler, only larger. That's for your tranny. If you can't see it thru your grill, try looking from underneath or thru the hood latching mechanism hole.
