So, there are a few VooDoo things going on that are rather irritating...

First, the 4x4 will click on and off when in the 4 hi position...This happens if you are sitting in park, or driving down the road, no pattern.

2nd, all of a sudden, the heat will turn cold...If that is not odd enough, it will go hot again most of the time if I crank the temp selector to cold for a minute, and then back to hot.

3rd, most recently, I will be driving along and the truck will lose a little bit of power, on the highway is where I notice it...then it is gone in a minute.

Am I cursed?

So, the relay that controls the 4x4 was replaced, no effect.

The GEM module was replaced, no dice there either.

The thermostat was replaced, nope, not that either.

I know I am not crazy, b/c my buddies 98 XLT X has the same 4x4 problem! I am sick of bringing it in to the local dealer, as they think I am too picky or something...


Anyone run into this b4?
